Microsoft fixes Windows Phone Marketplace bug, now publishing apps

Microsoft has now fixed a bug which was affecting its Windows Phone store which stopped people from downloading and installing recently acquired apps.
Microsoft temporarily stopped new apps from being submitted and published into the store while it investigated the bug. Marketplace chief Todd Brix reported via their blog that problem was occurring on older handsets which had not been updated to Windows Phone 7.5 Tango. Older models still running Windows Phone 7.5 Mango did not have the correct digital certificate permitting them to download apps which had just been added to the Windows Phone store.
"We fixed the digital certificate problem and last evening resumed publishing new apps and updates," Brix wrote on the Windows Phone Developer Blog. "It will take a day or two for the repair to fully deploy and newly-published apps to begin appearing in Marketplace again."
