This week's XBOX LIVE title is Shoot 1UP. As you would expect from a game developed by Microsoft Studios, it comes with decent graphics. Players can build up groups of ships to fight their advisories and extra ships as a bonus. The game costs $2.99 and a free trail is available should you want to give it a go before parting with your hard-earned.

  • Contract your phalanx to dodge enemy fire, expand your ships to fire the PLASMA AUGER!

  • WEAPONS UPGRADE as you collect more ships (Weapons downgrade when you lose ships, so stay sharp!)

  • Manic Shooting without all the wailing and gnashing of teeth - ALL GAMERS can actually enjoy this!

  • Hardcore? Crank up the difficulty and gameplay speed for FINGER - TWISTING manoeuvres!
