More accent colours coming with Windows Phone 8

The leaked Windows Phone 8 SDK (Software Development Kit) is still throwing up a few surprises. You would have thought the boffins would have scoured through it by now and there was nothing new to learn. Well, not if your name is 1800PcoketPC's Chris Rowlands.
Windows Phone currently offer a choice of 10 colours, which of course is not idea and rather poor at the very least. While digging through the SDK, Chris discovered that Microsoft had added 10 more colours into the mix, bringing the total to 20 (pictured above) plus the usual carrier/OEM's preference. Considering that the leaked SDK was not the final one and that Windows Phone 8 was still baking in the oven at the time of the leak, it would not surprise us if more colours turn up when the final OS if revealed.
Ideally, we would have loved to have had the ability of choosing a colour from an auto colour palette but appreciate that it would not a great idea as it would probably compromise the OS and battery life. However, the further 10 colours should be welcome addition. We think the the yellow is already our colour of choice, especially to go with the yellow Lumia devices and Nokia Purity Headsets.
