This IS how Nokia should advertise the Nokia Lumia 920

While minding my own business on YouTube, I bumped into what appears to be an internet advert of the Nokia Lumia 920. The video was posted by Nokia a week ago on their YouTube channel. What caught me was how watching it left me in a stupor, wondering how something could be so beautiful.

Fellow fanboys will remember how Microsoft advertised Windows Phone when it first came out. Most Windows Phone 7 adverts were flashy and accompanied by trance background music. The adverts were more likely to induce an epileptic fit rather that inspiring you to get a Windows Phone. Hey, I'm no PR guru but I can tell you that none of the Windows Phone 7 adverts were right.

Meanwhile, as seen on the video above, the Nokia Lumia 920 ad focuses on showing prospective buyers what they will be getting. The Nokia Lumia 920 is the most gorgeous (don't tell my girlfriend I said that) of devices so why not flaunt the aesthetics. Also, the choice of background music is inspired, it suits the ad theme. It also focuses on features such as the PureView camera, showing a comparison of a picture taken using another smartphone in low light and one taken using the PureView camera on the Nokia Lumia 920. The PureView camera is going to be one of the Lumia 920's selling points so Nokia needs to drive the point home.

There is plenty to like about this advert. What do you think, is this the way Nokia should advertise the Lumia 920. Let us know below.
