Fake Quad-core Windows Phone 8 'HTC Elation' does the rounds

HTC Elation

The clever [not] owner of the Ubuntu Life blog hatched a plan to get some traffic and my god has it worked a treat. The plot involved a faked "HTC Elation" image and a broken HTC.com link. For us, it seemed too good to be true and just as we suspected, the image is a fake.

Have a look at the image and you will notice that the screenshot is that of a Nokia device. How can we tell? There are two Nokia exclusive tile staring right back you. Also, the USB port is at the side yet we know all Windows Phone 8 USB port have been standardised. This is a photoshopped HTC One X image!

I shall not be wasting my typing strength on a blatant and deceitful way of getting publicity. By the way, we haven't bothered embedding any links because we just don't like liars.
