Nokia Lumia 920 is an AT&T exclusive in the US

Bad news for those not on AT&T: The Nokia Lumia 920 is an AT&T exclusive [see video]. Not to say the Samsung ATIV S, Nokia Lumia 820, or the HTC 8X are not fit alternatives should they end up being offered by your carrier, the case remains, the Lumia 920 is the hottest Windows Phone 8 device.
In any case, we shouldn't be all that surprised given that AT&T was Nokia premier partner with Windows Phone 7 in the U.S. The only hope for non-AT&T would be AT&T has a three-month exclusive on the Lumia 920 or that a modified version - much like what Samsung did with the Samsung Galaxy S II - will be offered to other carriers.
We have never favoured these exclusive arrangements we think the detriments always seem to outweigh the positives. What do think? Let us know in the comments.
