The little dear: Nokia Lumia 610

A recent trip to my local Carphone Warehouse (Independent UK phone retailer) made me realise how important the Nokia Lumia 610 is going to be to the Windows Phone platform going forward. Surprisingly, the little device was prominently displayed in all it's glorious black, cyan, magenta and white colours.

A recent report revealed that Windows Phone recent growth was mainly down to low-end devices such as the Nokia Lumia 610 and Lumia 710. We suppose Nokia realised this and decided that further support would be essential to keep the devices up to date, therefore an update is supposed to be coming to the Lumia 610 in the next few weeks. Specific details are not available yet, but the word is it will bring improved OS performance, usability and camera performance.

If you want to pick up a cheap Nokia Lumia 610, we suggest you head over to 02 or Carphone Warehouse. Both retailers are selling the device for £99.
