Nokia Lumia 920 heading to Verizon under the guise of Lumia 922?

Looks like the Nokia Lumia 920 might be on it's way to Verizon after all, well, kind of. There's been a massive outcry since Nokia and AT&T revealed that the coveted Nokia Lumia 920 was going to be exclusive to the carrier affectionately known as "Mother."
Now @NokiaPureView, who have a reputation of leaking correct information claim to be in possession of a Nokia Lumia prototype that is destined for Verizon. They say it looks like a Lumia 920, but thinner, lighter, with a matte finish and definitely has a PureView camera.
Whether this is an early prototype that is still in development or one nearing launch is still to be seen. When the devices will be announced will depend on the length and depth of the AT&T exclusivity deal. The sketchy way Nokia is rolling out the Windows Phone 8 Lumia devices is not helpful and leaves them open to wild rumours and speculation, some of which could be damaging in the long run.
Any Verizon customers keeping their dollars in their pockets and waiting to see how this pans out?
