Nokia Lumia 920 trounces iPhone 5, Galaxy S III and HTC One X in Optical Image Stabilization comparison, again!

The ad showed a man filming his girlfriend with the device while both were cycling. The footage then cut to material that appeared to be shot using the Lumia 920. But it later transpired this was actually professionally done after sharp-eyed viewers spotted a reflection of a camera crew. Remember that? Yes, the embarrassing fake advert that resulted in Nokia having to make an unreserved apology to all concerned.
It turns out Nokia didn't need to go to the trouble of faking the video after all because the Nokia Lumia 920's shooter is looking like a tidy bit of kit. Last time we saw an optical image stabilisation comparison, it was courtesy of the Engadget crew that was given exclusive access to a comprehensive testing suite at Nokia's research and development facility in Finland.
This time around, it's French tech blog Test-mobile.fr that have been afforded an exclusive audience with the mighty Nokia Lumia 920. The Test-mobile.fr crew used the same home-made cut-out to carry out an optical image stabilisation comparison of the Nokia Lumia 920 against the iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S III and HTC One X.
For a device that is only a few weeks old and is supposed to have one of the best cameras on a smartphone, the iPhone 5's results are astonishing. The iPhone's video looks dull and unstable, while that of the Lumia 920 is sharp and crisp, with incredible colour reproduction and refresh rate.
On the other hand, the One X and Galaxy SIII fare better that the fruit company's flagship, but remain inferior when compared to the Lumia 920. Have a look at all the videos and let us know what you think.
