Magenta Nokia Lumia 900 takes centre stage in Carly Rae Jepsen music video

It may seen trivial to many when we report on Windows Phone devices being used in music video, TV shows, etc., but the power celebrities now wield in influencing popular culture means that Microsoft and indeed OEMs have to find ways of getting their products in the hands of celebrities and TV/Music video producers. Recently, we saw Jessica Alba sporting the Nokia Lumia 920, even though it's yet to be released. We've also seen the Nokia Lumia 920 in one of Flo Rida's rap videos.
This time, it's a Magenta Lumia 900 taking centre stage in Canadian recording artist and singer-songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen's The Kiss music video. Nokia obviously footed a product placement deal because the Lumia 900 gets a good 5-10 seconds of airtime. Product placement or not, we are just pleased to see Windows Phone getting some love.
